What is my car worth

Recommended Posts

1992K . VR6 82K with full suppling VAG dealer history, every reciept and MOT. Perfect Interior and mechanically. Exterior could do with MR Dent and a polish. Still got original number plates front and rear, never been in a bodyshop as far as I can tell. Thatcham cat One with certificate.

Its not for sale just looking for idea's on value.

£4,500??

Depends, like is said below, on colour, leather, history/receipts etc.

Edit: was a bit optimistic with the price

it also depends on which colour and if its cloth or leather interior too.....as pau1 has just bougth a 93K vr6 with leather elec recaro interior with 86k miles and fsh(most vw-rest vw specialist) for the huge sum of £3.5k.....though it was in the less desirable white and is just needing some minor fettling to.......then again it is 10 years old afterall

so anything between £3.5k and £5k would be the value of your one

Here's some info on a couple of cars that recently sold here in Aberdeen including my one.

Mine - 1995 M VR6, 100K, FSH, leather interior pretty much immaculate, bodywork outstanding, sold it a couple of weeks ago for 4700.

Friends - 1992 K VR6, 85K, FSH, leather interior immaculate, been sitting for 6 months+ and needed calipers freed, bodywork good but needs a couple of areas touched up. Nice car - 3500.

So realistically I'd say its worth somewhere between those two prices.......

ex owner paul??

I'm afraid so Lanny, it had to go to make way for something more practical. There was no way my wife was selling her Audi A3.. so I had to part with my pride and joy  . I now drive a jeep Cherokee  Still, I now manage to fit 3 mountain bikes in the back and I don't mind the dirt getting everywhere but I do miss the Corrado.

I paid £3600 for a 1993 VR6 in Aqua Blue last October with low miles, mostly complete VAG service history and rucks of reciepts...

As a guide:

to early 1993 VR6... approx £4k

1993 - 1994 (face lifted) ... approx £5k

1994-1995 .. approx £6k

1995-1996.. approx £7k

Storm.. approx £8k

But as we all know... condition not mileage defines the prices these days - at least thats what the trade say...
