Roger Chatfield 0 Posted February 12, 2014 Evening all, quick one, my passenger electric window is not working, anyone have any idea why before I start digging? Rog.
seanl82 23 Posted February 12, 2014 Check switches on both doors to rule that out, check door shut connectors, check for supply at the motor. There is a window control module behind the rear drivers side card. Not entirely sure if that would be at fault as I don't know if they'd both go with that tbh, but worth a thought mate. Roger Chatfield 0 Posted February 12, 2014 Are there any fuses or relays to check, just a bit strange that only one side has stopped working. Rog.
seanl82 23 Posted February 12, 2014 Think there is one but it controls the signal to both sides mate, so probably ok. Its generally a problem with the connection between the door and shut from what I've read, although the motor itself can sometimes be at fault.
Reverend Frog 10 Posted November 16, 2014 I'm going to resurrect this thread as I've got this problem at the minute too. It just started after I got the car washed so I suspect some water has crept in somewhere. There is a noticeable 'tick' from the motor when you try and engage the switch, but nothing else. this applies to both the driver and passenger side switches, so they're not at fault. Driver's side window still works fine. does anyone have any ideas?
