Camber Settings?

Recommended Posts

The castor can be slightly out, due to the placing of the lower BJ, I've been told.

Or do the bolts run in grooves, thereby limiting it's front/rear movement?

I've got all the settings at home somewhere, I'll double check them tonight.

Vince sets the camber to 0.75 negative as he's found - 1.2 is too much and tends to eat the inside edges of tyres.

I'm more than happy with the way my car feels after he set it up, so I'm not inclined to disagreeing with him!

Assuming the BJs are new VAG ones, then the castor will be as specified and isn't adjustable without using pillow ball top mounts.

Worn BJs might give you a slight castor error but you're talking 10ths of a minute and only under extreme braking and acceleration, where the wheels move back and forth *anyway*.....
