iceviolet 0 Posted April 10, 2014 Hey there, any chance of posting alternator assuming it was working well? Thanks Hi, I could post yes, The alternator was in good working order when removed a few years ago and has been sat on a shelf in my garage since. Its going to be £20 posted. Hi mate, Could I have the rear engine mount please? Yes no problem, do you require this posting? Going to be £20 posted for this also. The gearbox came from a golf I bought to break, big ends were shot but the car did still drive and there was no problem with gearbox that I was aware of. Car had about 100k on IIRC. iceviolet 0 Posted April 10, 2014 Interested in the 2.8 block, Piston tool, Main bearings, piston rings. A bit far away from me to drive to collect though. Yes Essex is a fair way from Yorkshire. How much is it to send a pallet these days?
Jim Bowen 1 Posted April 10, 2014 How much does it weigh? I have been using parcel2go website recently and it's been decent. sent 22kg box of coilovers for about £8-£20 depending on the courier you pick. They collect it fun you. The head I just received cost £40 I think. But that included insurance due to the value.

Hofmiester 10 Posted April 11, 2014 Hi, if you can Pm me payment details for the rear engine mount, that would be great. For the gearbox, I am tempted as I want to get mine refreshed with new syncros and a shorter final drive but this would allow me to get it done without having the car off the road for ages. However postage is going to make it pricey, Where are you in West yorks? I am in Newcastle so may be able to come pick it up. Cheers Ron

iceviolet 0 Posted April 16, 2014 Oh well thats nice, i did say i'd take them on the first page. Never mind. I am sorry about that, but you only said you were "interested" in them and that's as far as it went. I had no further communication about the items you wanted so assumed you must not be interested anymore. Jimcarp was the first person to say he would 100% take them and I am sure that was the forum rules or at least used to be.
Jim Bowen 1 Posted April 16, 2014 I Thought you were going to see how much postage would be for all the bits. Just a misunderstanding I guess. No worries.
