Kevin Bacon 5 Posted June 1, 2004 If you went for the Racing compound, that'll be why then! Yeah the OE mounts do cushion the engine more than the VTs, but they go too far the other way imo. You end up with excessive engine bounce if your foot slips off the clutch for example! And rather than the engine deploying power to the road instantly, it's lurching back on blancmangey mounts!
