VR6 Lee 0 Posted June 13, 2014 Parts of my roof lining has started to come away... Anyone got any ideas of best thing to stick it back. I think the more I leave it the more it will start to peel off

davidwort 0 Posted June 13, 2014 What? Breaking up foam under the liner? Seems to be a common problem now, inside of my sunroof has just peeled off

VR6 Lee 0 Posted June 15, 2014 One question now my headliner is out of the car. I am going to clean all the foam/glue off the plastic bit so its nice and clean. when putting the fabric back on what foam does everyone use. Done a search and can't seem to find anything. KipVR 1 Posted June 15, 2014 Best to try and find a fabric with the foam already on it
easypops 8 Posted June 16, 2014 How easy was it to remove? Mine is also sagging.
J.C 10 Posted June 16, 2014 (edited) I did mine last year, I tried to re-use the original one once I'd removed all the foam but was impossible due to shrinking, I then used advertised headliner glue, now thats starting to sag, I'm going to redo mine with 3M product as they do quality stuff edit, This has good reviews http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/p-1554-high-heat-resistant-aerosol-adhesive.aspx Edited June 16, 2014 by J.C
VR6 Lee 0 Posted June 16, 2014 I am going to get some new fabric and foam as getting the foam off the headliner was easy but what a bit** getting it off the fabric... Still looks awful after. Going to take it to a bloke near me who has got good reviews called Pete Lenton. Just wondering I'm going to have to get the sunroof retriimed done as well so how easy is that to remove so I can get fabric retrimmed??
VR6 Lee 0 Posted June 16, 2014 How easy was it to remove? Mine is also sagging. didn't take too long to remove tbh.. just be careful not to crack or bend the fibreglass headliner board.
