Bails88 10 Posted June 16, 2014 Hopefully someone has seen similar problems, and can offer some advice?! Gearbox working perfectly until this morning, no crunches, grinding or jumping out of gear, just can't get 5th anymore. The gearstick won't move to the right to engage 5th, pushed as far over as I can, it still picks up 3rd. Have also tried at the transmission housing to lift the linkage to get 5th, but it won't move upwards at all, definintely something obstructing it. Has anyone got any ideas please? Thanks! Bails88 10 Posted June 16, 2014 Thanks, I'll take out the tower tomorrow and have a look. The tower does push down easily for 1st, 2nd and reverse, but something definitely stopping it from lifting up for 5th. Cables seem to be doing their job, movement in all the right directions.
