Sharan vr6 ecu

Recommended Posts

Am I right in thinking that the sharan vr6 will have a similar setup to the rest of the vr6s?

Obviously obd2 -obd2

Also I'm guessing the ignition maps will be slightly different etc

Found one dirt cheap to tinker with so I don't kill the original one etc

Anywhere I can get the pin outs from? For the uk cars for sharan

Has anyone got any info besides the not so informative Google serches

So far I've found that some differences and n the head having more cooling bits etc

The engine codes are aaa - Amy

Another strange thing is that checked some remapping company's and most of them show different gains between the mk3 vr6 golf and the sharan

It's only the t4 van which has the low bhp

Got this today

See if it works tomorrow most likely the immobiliser needs sorting, but if it does start in half the time/quicker than normal I could be on to a winner

Had ecu on today and besides the immobiliser it does start quicker

Obviously it dies out seconds later

Also for some reason my cheap fault scanner don't connect recognise the new ecu ??

Oh well will see hate this waiting

New ecu on still got the fault low live voltage or summat

Won't rev past 4.5k now

Ordered a new Bosch cam sensor as I got a cheap £20 one last time

Do you feel like you're talking to yourself here? :D

What's the idea behind the Sharon ECU? I thought you got it running OK with the Golf one?

I am I've got too much free time of late

The golf ecu worked fine but had the fault

Sharan ecu recognises the AUE cam sensor and wheel so should of worked

I used a cheep sensor which could be at fault

I need another pass time lol

And new sensor on this morning fitted

Started car, drove steady to petrol station

Felt bit slow as no sudden bits of torque nor any dips in torque

Well it works a treat

Next mission is to get the obd2 golf vr6 ecu to recognise the later style cam sensor and phase wheel
