so the time has come to strip parts of the car and get it ready for a full respray ...................................

had to strip the car of the parts that were being smoothed and interior removed so it dosent get caked in dust

car is having a lot of the panels smoothed but will look factory when done, lots of little touches :)having the shuts and under the bonnet painted aswell.

after giving it a few weeks it was finally time to put the interior back in and clean the car for the first time still only washing with car shampoo no wax. pictures show the bits changed, very happy :)

so since having the car painted ive been very reluctant to dive as really don't want that first stone chip :( so brought a type 19 mk2 gti 1985 from the old guy down my road has sat for 2 years feeling very sorry for its self, needs lots of work but will be complete by the summer. got a few cars on the drive and a couple of projects :)

thank you, yeah at first thought it was a bad idea till I see the outcome :), I have plates welded in to brace the roof so finders crossed should never have a problem luckily got 3 years warranty on the who respray

so the most recent news is went out for a lovely family meal to come outside to see the side on my rado had been driven into 5 weeks after a respray, unfortuanly cctv dsent show who done it as they didn't have the decency to leave a not, hopefully pick the car up at the end of feb as having a few new parts painted aswell.
