Wayne2015 10 Posted June 1, 2015 Just noticed you'd posted again and after looking outside at the beautiful English weather, assumed you were gonna post up news of further leaks. Glad that's not the case and you may have accidently repaired it. Lol Thanks Stuart :thumbleft: Love your auto-sig pic by the way

Pay bodyshop to sort out the surface rust (was going to do it myself) And I think thats the limit of my C s mortgage I think I have sort of decided now. Will deffo sell end-Jun / start-Jul ... delfinis38 1 Posted June 8, 2015 Blessing? Could be talking rubbish... When was it last changed wasn't it black when you changed the brakes ? If so that's dangerous esp with kids in car. Hope I'm wrong.
Wayne2015 10 Posted June 8, 2015 unlucky bud, whats actually happened though, cant change gear? After changing to 1st, clutch is cemented to floor and would come up. A few times managed to move it back up with foot or stopped and forced up with both hands. But eventually it wouldnt budge and just got stuck in 1st ...until it stalls when coming to a stop ... U absolutely right bud! I asked garage (with £1000 bill) to change everything (brake fluid including bleeding master, slave and ABS pump). But when at Chris s (vag-hag s) we discovered it wasnt replaced - or some of it wasnt - i am unclear myself ....
VAG-hag 0 Posted June 8, 2015 Blessing? yes. the state of your brake fluid was quite something when we looked at your car a few months back... the blessing is that they didnt fail on you at a critical time over the period scince then.
