The screw/plug is where the plastic cover from behind the headlight screws into (it fills the gap above the panel that helps guide colder air from the headlight into the air intake)

Huh?

I have removed it now?

The back wasn't attached to anything.

I ll get more pics of back next time...

It secures a cover behind the headlight which acts as a sort of air guide for the air box. That in the ebay link is the cover. I'll show you that on Sunday too mate.

Thanks Sean

I guess u know now my car is like a toy messed around by some Kid who used to have it.

Each day I find a new broken or missing item or something else don't work :-(

I just hope the engine is fine! EEEK!

As since owning it for a week there:

1. Almost no engine oil

2. No coolant

3. Roof leaks (but was told it doesn't) :( :( :(

I honestly know the feeling mate. I was lucky that it was a good runner, but I had more leaks that a pregnant pensioner, the bodywork and interior were absolutely shot, and I was also missing quite a few of the little things.

Ummmmm, don't feel bad, but I paid half what you did, and the chains had been done 6 months before I bought it too.

Is that £1 PER clip???

Anyway

So far found VWHeritage and VeeDubMachine for parts.

Anywhere else I should consider for value for money (preferable OEM parts)?

What about TPS?
