g0ldf1ng3r 13 Posted March 4, 2015 Hello I am trying to get my valver back on the road & though it is mostly just perished boots etc it seems i do have a very leaky steering rack :( Ive looked on VW Heritage & then nearly puked lol Does anyone have a good condition working steering rack available for a G reg 1990 1.8 16V? The boots are fine as are the track rods but you would probably be best changing them, as it's much much easier with the rack out of the car. I will get some pictures to you tomorrow if that's okay.
