Recommended Posts

It's on eBay now with a reserve of 2500 and a buy now of 3000 was keeping it for a rainy day.... Now I'm selling it to keep rain off my car lol. Shame cause I do love it. But car is becoming more important.

Least it's worth something... I bought a Rolf Harris about 7 years ago. It's worth nothing now :(

Haha. Well think they will have their day too. To be honest I think us owners keep the prices down ourselves. With all our problems on this site lol. Very rarely do people without troubles post on here so any one looking will say.... No way. Don't believe they are any worse than a Mk2 RS2000 Which sells for 20k

No I know that already in fact costs money ....but could not spend the same money and have more fun in a car. In fact you would be hard pushed to spend double and have more fun

Yes but we need to start talking about how fast our cars are and how trouble free. And how the tv star playing famous villain in a popular tv show is driving one

I had a MK2 RS2 for nine years. I knew, one day, they'd be worth a few quid. Sold it for 4.5k (just before prices went silly) & was sold last year for nearly 20k! Motorsport credentials help the MK1 & MK2 Escort prices no end. I think the Corrado's time is coming, maybe not to the extent of Escorts, but who knows ?

So there is no issue with just having one of these plugged in for a few months if sworn jus

Absolutely no issues. Mine has some sort of device inbuilt that protects the battery.

I do love the old RS but they are silly money now and think the C is such good value if not darn right cheap

Agreed. The Corrado is a lot more car. Also, one of the reasons I bought the 944 as couldn't afford another MK2! Who'd have thought it? Several lads from the old RSOC went down the 944 route too.

I still think the Corrado is a bit of a hidden gem in the classic car world ..................... for now?

944 turbo just got a mention on the classic car show as a bargain that is on its way up
