1.8 16v head swap

Hey everyone I was wondering if there is a head that can be swapped onto the 1.8 block? If so what all would it take to do so.

Other way round mate. 1.8 head on 2.0 block, or alternatively just 1.8 cams in the 2.0 head with block. Good gains to be made by doing that. Don't think there is really much that can be done to the KR on its own unless performance cams are used, and major head work done.

If its a bit of tuning your looking for then the Golf 50mm intake worked well on my 2.0.

I'm not looking for any tuning stuff. I may have some bent valves so just looking for a way to replace the top end without dipping too far into my wallet. The car will be traveling to the states in a few months where I will probably drop a vr6 in the car. Anyways I'm just trying to get the car moving again so slickly possible ideas I'm not looking for power

The wiki guide suggests nothing between the flow of the 1.8 and 2.0 head so either should do, but make sure you fit the 1.8 cams.

That's fair. Now beyond that does anyone have any ideas where to find a used head that's complete?
