Fuchs 10 Posted July 7, 2015 After selling my mk5 r32 I decided to buy a corrado as I've always wanted one Picked up a '94 VR6 last Saturday in Flash red, heated leather interior The grill, wheels and plates are not to my taste. The first thing I bought was a vr6 grill, massive improvement I think! I've sent off the forms to get my number plate transferred onto the car. Future plans installing air ride, which should be arriving today, changing the wheels when I find a set I like and smoothing the front number plate recess. borarob 0 Posted July 7, 2015 Looks good. If your mk5 is anything to go by then this should be one to watch. Especially interested in the air ride as that is on my to do list. .

It arrived today, not had any experience with it before as all my cars have been static. Having a nightmare trying to fit everything in to the boot as I have a sub and amp too. Will keep updating this so you can see how it goes!
bristolbaron 11 Posted July 7, 2015 The mk5 was static?! Good work!!
Jim Bowen 1 Posted July 7, 2015 Amazing how much better it looks with the correct grill.
Fuchs 10 Posted July 7, 2015 The mk5 was static?! Good work!! Yep, took a hell of a lot of work to make it driveable though. I'm ready for the easy, stress free life now😎 Say that now and I'm probably gonna be bursting bags and having lots of air leaks!
Fuchs 10 Posted July 7, 2015 Amazing how much better it looks with the correct grill. I agree! Love the vr6 grill. Now just to get some nice, clean number plates on and it will look even better!
Jim Bowen 1 Posted July 7, 2015 You did well to find a vr6 badge for the grill

Fuchs 10 Posted July 14, 2015 After a very very long day on Saturday got my AirLift kit fitted. Wheels aren't allowing me to actually air out completely, but very impressed with it so far! Boot build is almost complete, gone very minimal. Carpet arrived today so should get that finished off at the weekend. Also got my plate on the car, a million times better IMO. Looking at putting Fifteen52 Tarmacs on in the near future. Also sorting a few small issues, CV boot and some bushes etc. Now looking to sort a custom decat exhaust out, far too quiet for me right now! Absolutely in love with the car so far, makes me smile from ear to ear when I'm driving it!
SR_Neale 10 Posted July 14, 2015 Looks good. How comes when I look at other people's red corrados I think yeah that looks wicked but when I look at mine I'm not a fan?

Fuchs 10 Posted July 18, 2015 Looking like a million dollars buddy wish my plate read F13TCH Thank you, it's far from perfect but I'm getting there. I got mine for my 18th birthday, hence the F18. Only better plate would have been F11CHS, unfortunately it's about 15k or something.

Fuchs 10 Posted July 22, 2015 Got the car back yesterday, went for a custom de cat power flow exhaust. Sounds amazing, very happy with it. New wheels also arrived, had a wee trial fit, very happy! Just waiting on tyres arriving. Bought them from Trimsport after seeing the advert on here.
Rathion 0 Posted July 22, 2015 Like it. Glad I never went for the tarmacs as it could have been awkward!! ;-)
G60MAT 0 Posted July 22, 2015 I told you yesterday, get the tyres on! Can't wait to see this done! :)
bristolbaron 11 Posted July 22, 2015 Have look into 'great plates'/drop plates/rear beam relocation plates. It looks like your rear wheels are gonna sit forward with the drop you have, these centre them back up again..
Fuchs 10 Posted July 22, 2015 I told you yesterday, get the tyres on! Can't wait to see this done! :) They can't come quick enough, probably won't be until next week now though 😔

Be interesting to see how it will sit/look with tyres when aired out
