Update time!!!!

Well I'm back from my trip to Romania and Germany!

Drank way too much beer (ever heard of a beer wheel?) had one in Romania. Bad idea. Didn't expect 11 pints!!

Germany was mega! Arrived in time for a massive festival of beer and Sausage in Furth!

Naturally bought back some goodies! Litre can of beer and a couple of stein glasses!

I did actually do some work whilst I was there believe it or not...

So update on the car!

Good news is that air filter is on order from US.

$35 ordered it via a mate in USA and shipping via him to me as couldn't find anything new the UK at a reasonable price.

Got the intake pipe back and have to say has been fabricated really well! Welds are amazing and will great under the bonnet!

Also had the spacer made up for charger bracket.

It's good enough considering all I had was a drawing from a mate in the USA. Bolts align and that's all that matters really!

Also bought a catch can off VR6OC, so that's another item off the list!

Next is to mock it all up so can measure what length belt I will need in advance of fitting.

Hoping to get it fitted in a couple of weeks all being well!

Pete, good luck with this install. I remember my V9F 'charger quite fondly. It was a Stealth install on OBD1 and used to overfuel when cold but apart from that it ran pretty well. I ran larger 360cc injectors and standard cams plus Aquamist for safety. Vince mapped it without the MAF - the days before he figured out how to do OBD1 chargers with the MAF. Whilst I got used to the power (and torque) delivery (hence the longer term switch to turbo) what I miss even now is the impeller whine at low revs and when idling. It sounded great. Will look forward to seeing the car again when its all fitted and finished.

Rgds Charlie

Charger will be fitted week after Easter. Having few issues though with the oil drain feed AN fitting fouling the chassis leg that may need further thought.

Has anyone else fitting a V1 had this issue on their Corrado?

I got mine from USA - Was only £40 including delivery (bargain!).

Where did you connect the 12v bulb feed too? Which wires?

Also where are you hooking the pipe work on for the boost reading?

Oh and also did you have any issues with bulb holder hitting the flap when using spade connectors?
