Republic Of Mancunia 0 Posted September 22, 2015 (edited) CAR NOW SOLD For Sale: Volkswagen Corrado 2.9 VR6 Storm - Mystic Blue Volkswagen Corrado 2.9 VR6 Storm Mystic Blue. I feel sick writing this, but the time has come to sell my Storm due to trying to raise money for a house deposit :( The car has been owned by myself since 2004, with only 2 previous owners before that. It was used daily and garaged overnight. In October 2008 it was SORN'ed and stored in the garage for 17 months due to relocating and changing jobs that involved an 80mile commute so an oil burner had to be used. The car was brought out of retirement in March 2010 and has been used sparsely since then. It is currently on 144,600 miles and is more or less original apart from being fitted with an enlarged throttle body and benefitting from remap. It has full service history, and serviced annually even when only approx 200 miles were covered. I have 100s of receipts, including ones from the previous owners. The interior is in excellent condition, there are no rips or tares in the leather although it could do with a feed. The exterior is in good condition, although the front end looks a little tired up close due to stone chips but none have rusted. Rear bumper has a small crease, which is just about visible in the pictures. Alloys are in good condition despite never being refurbed. Work Carried Out in my ownership: Recent Front disks and pads less than 1000 miles use Cam position sensor Helix Organic Clutch @ 137k Head recondition @126k Main and secondary water pumps Magnecor HT leads Cam chains @ approx 95k Bushes replaced with PowerFlex as and when required Plus receipts and invoices for thousands more. Previous Work: Full Magnex Stainless steel exhaust K&N induction Enlarged throttle body and remap carried out by AMD Bicester inc Rolling road readouts.
