Removing old alarm stickers

Anyone know a good tip to get them off without flaking or leaving a sticky residue? I want to fit my new Toad stickers, but getting the old ones off is leaving my window in a right mess :roll:

thinners and a sharp blade..or a bit of heat

I used a new scapel blade to get em off, they were so old and crappy they literally flaked off. (And smelt like fish, pretty vile)

Meths and stanley blade it'll be then. Here's hoping it won't smell of fish.
