robrado974 1 Posted December 10, 2015 Evening all . I received my Seat cig lighter today , with the red surround . I plugged it in to check it and it works fine , not that I would use it anyway . But it does not light up but it does get hot and pop out . Obviously there is a new bulb in the unit . Also I went to unplug it as it feeds in the other way into the plastic surround and I can't release it . I'm pressing the lugs together and pulling but it is as tight as , my fingers are dented lol . Maybe I could press the lugs in and pull it with plyers? . I don't won't to break it though . Any thoughts chaps . Rob . Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
fla 9 Posted December 10, 2015 Rob, you could try levering it out carefully with a wide flat screwdriver, first one side then the other. That should 'break' the friction and hopefully get the connector off. Hope that makes sense? Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
