ABS Brake pedal position sensor

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Again, more hoarded items. Here are 2 brake pedal position sensors (EDIT - JUST ONE LEFT NOW) needed for the ABS on Corrados to work properly. Both checked prior to removal and both fully functional, kept as spares but never needed.

Hi Tom,

If the one remaining sensor you have here is the blue tipped one, I would like it please.

I appreciate that this is my first post, but I've just bought a VR6 a couple of weeks ago and wanted to deal with some outstanding issues before formally introducing myself.

Many thanks,

Grant

The tips pop off, so even if its the green one you can re-use your old tip.

Excellent! It didn't occur to me that the devices were otherwise identical.

In which case, I shall definitely want to buy it.

Hi Grant,

Sorry but they both sold some time ago.

Thanks

Tom

There's a complete servo for sale on e-bay that looks like it's still got one fitted to it. Might be worth buying that and taking the part off you want.... I had to do the same.

That's a good tip, John. Albeit a more expensive route it certainly increases my chances of getting one.

I've heard that the soldered joints can get dry and therefore not beyond repair. Good to know I can get a more professional fix.

Thank you!
