Help! Alternator on VR6

Hi all,

 

Just quick bit of help. Turns out it looks like there is a very high chance of buying the wrong Alternator for a corrado! Its a mine field out there.

 

Could anyone point in the direction of where I can source one for a Corrado VR6 1993? Or what the part number is??

If you can wait 'til tomorrow morning I'll snap a few shots of the 120

Amp Bosch vr alternator I've got spare. The number should still be readable on the black plastic cover.

The 120A is 021 903 025G usually fitted as an upgrade from the mk3 golf

There are 90A and 70A versions as well I can get those when its light if you need them

120 Amp were standard for cars with A/C, and a worthwhile upgrade.

Thanks a lot for the quick response guys. So I'm safe to buy a 120 amp alternator for my 1993 VR6? using the 021 903 025G part number?

I bought a 120A a few months ago from TPS. Brilliant bit of kit but needed the bigger ribbed belt cos of the aircon. And it doesn't come with a Pulley

I've got a Bosch 120 alternator from a corrado for sale if your looking to buy a used one, $50 + shipping.
