delfinis38 1 Posted June 11, 2016 I live in a village with a population of about 3000 people. It was our village fete on the green this afternoon. And people are encouraged to get their classic cars out to display for the afternoon round the village pond. I'm amazed what people have in their garages, it was a great turn out of maybe 35 cars. Lots of American stuff. Mg's, splitty camper old motor bikes, rollers Morris minors, rather nice mk1 escort and Capri, to name but a few. Half this stuff I've never seen in the village before I've been a resident for over 30 years. Well done to the village for an excellent display. Sorry no pictures. delfinis38 1 Posted June 12, 2016 Will see what's on the village website later in regard pictures... I love village fetes too. Great community spirit... Even enjoy the open gardens and having a nosey round... The fancy dress wheel barrow race and a pint in one of the 4 pubs was a good laugh.
delfinis38 1 Posted June 12, 2016 (edited) okay no pictures of the village fete.... but I went to the supercar coffee club at Blenheim palace this morning..... not a bad turn out for a wet morning in Oxfordshire. Next one is on the 3rd July and is classic 60's and 70's sports cars. Edited June 12, 2016 by delfinis38
