Heater Control Light Not Working with new Bulb :(

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

Long time no speak lol! Anyway a bit of tinkering with the daily and the long absent Heater control bulb replaced today but the bulb stil doesn't illuminate. i think it worked when I removed the dash to do the heater matrix but hasn't since.

Any ideas what may be wrong?

Thanks and happy new year to you all.

Kip

Is there 12v coming into the heater control? If no, check fuse, can't remember which one. Could the bulb be a blown one? worth checking. Lastly, it could just be poor illumination, the green spider like thing has a habit of cracking when reassembling so reduces light output to front.

mine is the same, spent ages trying to fix everything and replacing bulbs when doing the matrix and now have less lights than before.

Haven't checked any fuses so will look into that. Yeah i know they aren't that bright but no illumination at all and tested the bulb on the VR which works okay so definitely not the bulb.

Thanks chap.

Cigarette lighter working by the way but no ash tray or heater control lights.

Scratching my head as I've had this problem b4. I'm sure it was to do with a plug not being seated correctly but I can't remember which one.

I'll have a think...
