Bonnet release part

Hi I'm in need of the bonnet release clip

The part in the middle that looks like a screw

I think you can use one that has the screw on the side, but with the screw removed. Or I was talking to someone who drilled through an aluminium golf tee to make a substitute

The part with the screw is readily available from VW heritage

Ah, ok. Perhaps you should let people know where you are in the country as someone local might be able to help

If you get stuck , tie a wire around each bonnet rod and remove the grill . Then you can close the bonnet as normal.
