robrado974 1 Posted April 1, 2018 Really annoying as I’ve renewed all the underside parts other than the suspension. I don’t think it’s a top mount . Mainly it’s on full right lock , you can hear a rubbing noise , I’ve had a look on full lock but I can’t see anything touching . The wheel was hitting the anti roll bar a while back but I thought I’d sorted that . Sometimes when pulling away or reversing it clonks too . seanl82 23 Posted April 1, 2018 Did you change the CV joints Rob? Worth making sure the inners CV joint bolts are tight to the cups. When the Wifes beemer had the clutch changed the garage didn't do the prop shaft bolts up properly and it knocked when pulling away. By the time I'd pulled the undertrays off to see what was going on, 2 had come out and were rattling around in there, and the rest were bent!
robrado974 1 Posted April 1, 2018 It could be Sean . I didn’t change them , but they were removed to get to other parts . Definitely worth checking as you say . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
