Hi Folks, I’m new to the Corrado scene so please be gentle.

I picked up a nice G60 on Sunday, body is great, electrics work 😱 however when I plant it (to get to the speed limit) it seems to stutter before taking off. Anyone any ideas? 🤷🏼*♂️

Cheers

Possibly a fueling issue if it idles ok. Maybe start by changing the fuel filter, but could also be pump, fpr, or a mixture issue

Hello and welcome to the Forum.

I think FPR = Fuel Pressure Regulator

Best place to start is a good service, inc the under car fuel filter.

Then check all your timing marks and set the dynamic timing and idle.

Once this is done you can start fault finding, but my money will be on the Blue temp sensor (in the flange on the front of the head, the black one gives your dash temp reading and the blue one gives signal to the ECU). You can get them new from VW for less than £20.

FPR is unlikely to be at fault, unless the vac hose is no good, but this is easy to inspect.

One other thing to check is that your vac line from the back of the throttle body to the ECU is 1m long, any other length and they seem to play up.

Depends what you need buddy, if its service parts they still readily available, for other parts check vw heritage. Mechanically you should be able to get majority of stuff new still
