Just been reading through this thread,

I posted earlier about Skylines not being all that because out of the 5 i own and they are mainly all modded, my VR beats them all, on low speed sprints and 80mph+ thrashes up in to the 160's mine is faster which surprised me!

140MPH on a private circuit, really! Alas speedo said 140MPH but GPS said 133MPH :(

7mph out isn't that bad mate.....some are miles off!

 

Jaguars are reputed as having the most accurate production speedos. The Jag XJ220 recorded 201 mph on the Speedo during a test run and the laser telemetary gear showed 201 mph too :shock:

a pissy little 110 havent had it up any higher than that dues to speed cops and just having finished rebuilding bits (dont trust me handy work yet)

 

fastest ive ever drove 155 - 160ish mph (dunno what really as i wasn't look ing at speedo) in my old jag xjs that was fucking scary it kinda plants itself at that speed but you wonder if you can break before you hit the next roundabaout.thank fuck for the huge tyres and big discs.

shame on limiter (had completely hit limt but could feel it still wanted to go)

 

oh and it also cost me a lot in fuel.
