carrots 1 Posted January 15, 2019 ive got some new bolster foam for my seat base.before I start the job I want to see whats best to use to re attach the cloth to the frame.hog rings (I would have to buy rings and tool) or small cable ties.cheers
Philly-R6 0 Posted January 15, 2019 I'm not sure you need to buy new rings and a tool. When I replaced my seat foam, I used pliers to undo and refit the hog rings. Just take your time - we are supposed to enjoy these challenges!
seanl82 23 Posted January 15, 2019 Yeah I used a set of needle nosed pliers, fed them through the rings then opened them up to remove, then just a normal set of pliers to close them back up again. So long as you don't open them right up, they're perfectly re-usable.

_Matt_ 32 Posted January 16, 2019 I can't directly help but where did you source seat foam? I can feel springs/metal after sitting in my drivers seat for an hour..
