Enigne wiring harness

Started work on sorting my enigne bay and have noticed the loom is cripy in places, can anyone recommend a good place to get a loom made up? figured I dont want to risk and engine fire for the sake of cuttin gcorners on wiring

Try Simtek in Rochdale (https://www.simtekuk.co.uk) - I've only bought wire from them, though.

 

 

You can do it yourself if you want to invest in some tools. It isn't that difficult - just fiddly, if you are interested in that sort of stuff...

 

If you are around Manchester, I will show you.

Cheers mate, I’m based in mk so bit of a mission, I’ll give them a call, reckon I’ll end up diy rewiring though

Get yourself a crimping tool and some terminals and fix them yourself. I bought mine from link below. Got a ratchet crimping tool which is fantastic and some durite multi pin tool and made my entire loom with those.

Blue95 did you have any luck getting a loom made? Looking at doing mine now.

 

I repaired my old loom....then got lucky with an excellent condition engine loom of ebay for £25...they do come up if your patient
