Looks great. Must have been nice to get out for the drive on a lovely day. I was going to go to this, but work got in the way unfortunately

Well, a set of RS301’s became available so looks like the corrado won’t be standard for too long.

Chris they will be epic on your corrado. You can easily put it back to standard when the need arises but you can't easily get your hands on a set of those and for 99% of people some tasteful mods such as these would never detract from your efforts. Hell I'd love a set (anyone reading please point me in the right direction!!).

Lovely Job Chris,

For anyone who wonders what a brand new Corrado VR6 looked like, check out the one coming up for auction on 20th Dec, by Bonhams Auction's :https://carsonline.bonhams.com/en/listings/volkswagen/corrado-vr6/ its as close as you are going to get to a new car, just 5k miles....

Fat wallet necessary though !

Starting price around £20k ?

Yet, ironically, many of our own cars on this forum are cleaner underneath than that 5k garage example. Chris' certainly is cleaner all over!

A few things surprised me from the advert: 1) they say you'll want to give it a check over before driving it, i.e the brakes and 2) whilst £1k was spent this year recommissioning they didn't put it through an MOT & 3) a matching set of (30 year old) tyres shows a caring, mechanically sympathetic owner (yes, it didn't ever get used).

I'm sure it will end up in someone's collection and I suppose you're buying the odometer readout.

Absolutely agree, it’s a shame it’s been stored so badly. The rear beam bushes are terribly rusty and need replacing. The bushes on the 5k mile corrado are worse then the ones I took out of my 93k mile corrado.

You really are buying the odometer, it really won’t be as good as what most cars on here are.

it will be bought and sent to a back street garage that will fit cheap after market parts to get it running properly and will be less original then mine.

at least mine is rebuilt with 99% genuine parts.

That is a beauty! Merry Christmas to you as well :)

Mines is clean but not a patch on yours. It is better than that auction car though for sure!
