woody 0 Posted July 31, 2004 The late lights also sit nearly fush to the front of the bumper but the early ones sit in about an inch. oops!!!!! sorry must read post more slowly
Banana Man 0 Posted July 31, 2004 thats the fogs and indicators woody that sit flush with the bumper on the later cars not the headlights 8)
24V Renshaw 0 Posted July 31, 2004 The later headlights sit about 1/4" further in due to the different lens and surround. They also fit a bit tighter to the wing aswell. I have swapped my earlier lenses and surrounds for later ones. Easy job and makes quite a difference to the front, along with the later indicators and fogs. No there are no crystal clear headlights for the Corrado................yet! :)
ghee60 0 Posted July 31, 2004 ok i might stick with my grubby old ones and hope they bring out crystal! if they dont by the time its resprayed then new later ones will be fitted Also going to use later front wings and later bumper and fogs and things
ben16v 0 Posted July 31, 2004 G60Renshaw how did you change your lights and fogs etc? was it straight swap?
24V Renshaw 0 Posted August 1, 2004 The later spec headlight lens swaps straight onto the earlier light, you have to use the later type plastic surround too. The indicators and fogs go straight in, you just have to trim the plastic away a bit behind the cluster but that can be done with a craft knife. Easy job and makes a huge difference.
