CazzaVR 0 Posted September 6, 2020 For Sale 2002 Avus Silver Audi S3 Previous owners 3 Mileage 125K MOT 30/8/21 Full Service History- main dealer/independent specialist (service book is present and fully stamped) I have owned this car for nearly 7 years- it was the replacement for my old Storm. It’s been an absolute joy to own and has been an incredibly reliable daily. It’s a truly stunning factory special order colour and is one of the rarest colours. It starts first time, every time and drives as it should. It has wanted for nothing during my ownership and has been serviced annually at Badger 5. Everything that has needed doing, has been done. It is in superb condition, with great bodywork and interior. The roof rails and door blades are completely free of rust. It already had a Stage 1 remap when I bought it. Other than that, the only other modifications are: Badger 5 TIP & twin cone filter (I still have the original TIP & airbox as well), Powerflex rear axle bushes (a massive improvement!), R32/TT wishbone bushes and N249 delete (I still have the original pipework to reverse this, if required), BBS 18” optional extra TT split rim wheels (£3000 option). The car has a fully-working Bose stereo system, with sub-woofer (in boot), 6 X CD Changer and tape deck. The leather seats are in great condition and all the electrics work perfectly. Even the cup holder works! It has 2 keys and the original Audi code tag and plastic key. I had it MOT’d the other day and the only advisories were for 3 tyres, which have been replaced with Goodyear Eagle F1's. I also have it booked in for a service and cambelt/water pump change at Badger 5 on 9th Sep. During my ownership of nearly 7 years, it has covered around 33K (under 5K a year). The following jobs have all been done on the car, during my ownership: New clutch New ball joints, wishbone bushes, drop-links etc. New front ARB New alternator New discs and pads when required 4-wheel alignment Cambelt/water pump Change gearbox oil Change rear diff oil Change haldex oil & filter Change brake fluid Replacement headlight switch I have a folder full of receipts Bad Points There was a very small area of bubbling on the front o/s arch, which I rubbed down and patched up (see pic) Wheels are perfectly presentable, but would benefit from a refurb A couple of the aircon buttons have the usual wear to the soft touch plastic All in all, this car has been absolutely brilliant- the best car I have owned by a country mile. £4795 ono Please no time wasters! Keyo 47 Posted September 7, 2020 The only thing with the small Bmw is the storage space - compared to a golf R - none of my business but have you driven.both mate as the golf r build quality is one of VW finest creation in a long - obviously not rear wheel drive though . _Matt_ 32 Posted September 7, 2020 Tidy, my brother has a M135i he has owned for about 5 years he's looking to sell (as has a Tesla model 3 on the way through his work - don't worry I have almost disowned him). His car has about 40k on it he's after around £11k. Grey, black leather, H&K, manual. I was thinking of selling a couple of cars myself to take it off his hands but unlikely I'll get there. CazzaVR 0 Posted September 7, 2020 Keyo, don't really need a huge amount of storage space, as we have a Leon estate for long journeys 😉 I originally wanted an R, but they're too expensive for my budget + I've driven them both now 😉 pfnsht- shame it's a manual- going automatic/paddle shift this time. To be fair the 3351 ticks a lot boxes- always thought a corrado missed a trick not been rear wheel drive - cant help but think the Audi your selling is going to appreciate very shortly- they are maturing very well and have a dedicating following. CazzaVR 0 Posted September 7, 2020 I know- the same thing has already happened with the Corrado. Prices really bottomed out and now they are very healthy. The same will happen with the S3, once most of the bad cars have gone.
