Hutty 10 Posted September 27, 2023 Replacement needed. I'm looking for as close to OEM as possible. Everywhere seems to be nil stock unless you want to go down the aluminium route.
_Matt_ 32 Posted September 27, 2023 It is obsolete but Diasis make a oem style replacement. It comes in and out of stock at autodoc (out sadly at the moment): https://www.autodoc.co.uk/aks-dasis/1719649
Hutty 10 Posted September 30, 2023 Hi Matt, I'm in touch with Autodoc. Just waiting for an answer on when they expect stock to arrive. I'll post here when I get an answer.
mooG60 11 Posted October 3, 2023 It doesn't look like they are making a G60 version, unless you guys know different?
Hutty 10 Posted October 4, 2023 Autodoc haven't been very helpful. After going round the houses with VIN and OEM numbers they still offered me a replacement for a 16v! They don't seem to know when stock will become available and have only recommended clicking the "Notify Availability" tab on their website. As a result I'm now looking at radiator repair/re-coring services in the area (Shropshire/West Mids)

_Matt_ 32 Posted October 4, 2023 I have a used geniune spare vr6 rad that I'd be happy for a re-core company to use it as a template to create a new version of it (as long as I could have one back for myself too). I asked one place a few years ago but they declined as it had plastic ends.

Hutty 10 Posted November 3, 2023 I ended up going down the aluminium route. The core was ok but the plastic on the sides had become brittle and cracked. The plan is to paint the aluminium with black rad paint so that at least it still looks OEM-ish!
