Sallyanne 10 Posted December 5 Anyone in the Bristol area who can recommend a good specialist to look after my VR6? Recently moved from London and have a couple of issues with my car and don't know who to trust with it!
_Matt_ 32 Posted December 6 Many Corrado owners go to Stealth Racing (travelling from around the country). They are based in Southam in Worcestershire so they are not too far from Bristol https://stealthracing.co.uk/wordpress/ https://www.facebook.com/@StealthRacingUK/?locale=en_GB Best to ring around 1:30pm and ask for Vince. Thanks Matt that's really helpful and if I get really stuck I'll head there. I was hoping to find someone a bit nearer (they're 2 hours away from us) as I've got back issues so struggle to sit in the car (any car!) for more than an hour! _Matt_ 32 Posted December 6 It is a pain to get to but for engine stuff it is worth it. Vince will get it right first time and if it turned out more major works was needed, such as timing chains, you're in the right place to have the job done correctly and his prices are reasonable. Thank you! My other half (ex mechanic) is going to look for anything obvious but as there's no real hurry, I think you're right in taking it to someone who really knows their stuff! bristolbaron 11 Posted December 10 Grant motorsport over in Warmley has built many race spec vr6’s over the years. http://www.grantmotorsport.co.uk PC motors is more central and focussed a lot on Audi rs stuff these days, but certainly know their way around a vr6. https://www.pcmotors.co.uk
