greg81 0 Posted March 21 Just a quick query regarding radiators. It’s looking like we will be buying one of the eBay alloy types for our auto VR. Before I get a chance to have a look later, does anyone have any experience as to whether there is a difference in radiators between auto and manual gearbox cars? The vendor has said they are for manual gearbox only?
fendervg 33 Posted March 21 Pretty sure they are different - they tend to be for most models. ETKA lists different ones for auto vs manual, but I've never had two side by side to compare. Hopefully someone else on here will be able to confirm
fendervg 33 Posted March 21 Actually for VR6 it only lists one radiator part#, 535121251E - I was lookng at the 4 cyl engines, which have different radiators for for standard vs a/c and automatic - 675mm as opposed to 430mm, the VR one is listed 630mm - but it does show some mounting hardware and brackets are specific to auto cars, but you should have them already. Cressa 45 Posted March 22 There cant be many Autos left on the roads as some have swapped them to manual. I think Hasan has an Auto, so it would be nice if he knew and commented. Have you looked to see if there Is there any info in the WIKI about this?
