boab 0 Posted August 14, 2004 ive replaced the burst pipe on my car and its now runnig fine, but i noticed that the speedo is now not goin up, all other dials are ok just the speed counter, and also only one side of my spoiler lifts up and the drivers side stays down, is this in anyway related?? have i maybe bumped a wire off or something?? Kevin Bacon 5 Posted August 14, 2004 If the spoiler is going up, sort of, then the vehicle speed sensor in the gearbox is OK. I'd check you connections behind the instrument cluster. Timo. 0 Posted August 15, 2004 My speedo stopped working the other day too, but all the other guages were still ok. I took my clocks apart and pulled out the speedo unit and pushed the pointer round by hand, checked the connections and chucked it back in. Job done, it work after that.
