Heardy 0 Posted September 15, 2004 Are gsf bushes anygood or should i just buy some from the main dealer? Also what sort of job to fit them ? Cheers jason
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted September 15, 2004 Mine came from GSF and they're fine. It's an easy job technically, but time consuming and labour intensive. Best done on a ramp to be honest, or some very high axle stands. The only caution I can advise is to press the new bushes in so that they are 8mm proud on the inboard side of the axle and make sure you align the bush correctly so that the passive steer function works. I've seen a couple of axle bush jobs where the bushes weren't pressed in correctly and the axle sat further to one side of the car than the other!
