Very good advice helped me changed my switch over the other night with no problems others than a bumped head on the brake pedal ! :mad:

FINALLY did the little bastard !!! the screw was a sod to find, because i actually have a passat steering coloum and the screw was hidden so i had to snap the old switch out to get to it anyway the new switch is it and its all back together and im happy, for now :) cheers all !

im having trouble finding the screw, can someone tell/show me exactly where it is? ta

ive read the sticky and it didnt help me see the photo below, i got a new ignition switch because of my intermitant starting problem and its ok now, but its still hanging below the steering wheel what do i need to do to take the old one out and fit the new one thats hanging down thanks

yes altho i struggled to stick mine back on as they were so heavy nothing seemed strong enough?

leon cupra, you would get a decent one with around 40k for that money whereas you the golfs are better built and hold value better but wont have as low mileage

hey jim i always found my rado petrol tank to change depending on whether i was accelerating/braking and i bet it isnt near empty when it says it is!

so what can cause the soggy, porridge like gear change.

hey havnt been on here for a while.. my local had a drive in my rado and said the gear linkage was worn (this is the lack of klink-klink you get when you change gear, yes?) in the slightly porridge like gear change down to worn linkage ? if so, is it expensive to replace ? regards

hi :) question; can larger than standard size corrado door sill kick plates be got hold and fitted properly to the corrado? i want to remove my standard black plastic ones and fit some longer than standard ones regards
