Hi! Tried to search the forum first but no luck so far... Is the same pump in vr6 and 1.8 8v or they are different ones? Checked the fuel lines and they look the same to me so had a thought it might be the same with the pump. Doing reshell of what it used to be my vr6 to the new shell and not so keen on taking out the pump from 8v just for a quick check if I don't have to.

Looking at a massive rado-related folder on the laptop had a thought it's about the time to start to build a thread... Bought a tired looking vr6 back in 2014 from a local vw dealer who knows us well (my other half's vdubs addict too ;) After owning a 16v for a few years (loved my c to bits but it was a friday car!) and not owning any c for a year simply couldn't wait to jump in the vr and drive it as much as i can. that's right vr6 was just to become my daily! The first thing on the very long list to sort out was an exhaust, spark plugs and HT leads (10mm). Could feel some vibrations from the engine, so a solid mount has been added (courtesy of my other half :)) Winter time seems to be perfect for a little test on the RR day. We both were quite curious what the little c. can do. As a result of the test we saw 176.5 bph. We're wondering what's the reason of the underpower, so decided to bring c. back to our trusted vw specialist in Street to sort out the camber chain and timing. Fast forward to this winter. C has been taken off the road to do some major bodywork... the plan was to deal with all rusty bits and raw patches and make it as good as possible on our limited founds. and everything went... not as we expected! the rear arch always was rusty and in very bad knick, but as long as rado was my daily we had no opportunity to deal with it. this winter seems to be a perfect timing and we cut out the rear arch, but it was so much rust in it already and filler after the previous owner than it was nothing to rescue... Well we tried but the result was so deeply disappointing we decided to follow friend's advice and... buy a new shell/car. Finding a good condition 8v didn't take too long. Stripping down the interior and the engine bay took us a few good weekends. In the last week old vr6 been removed and placed nicely in the new shell.and this weekend will be very exciting coze the vr6 will be back to life! And yes i know more pictures comming as soon as i can upload them on the photobucket :-)

Hi! Just curious because I can't find the topic about Inters except this one: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?89314-GTI-International-2015&highlight=GTI+International+2015 Anyone's going? It always nice to see some rados! :D

Yes that was a good choice of the place :-) Did you go to the Audi lounge/bar too? They served soft drinks for free and you could grab a free radio! Been there very first time with my other half (bought tickets as his bday pressie) and 3 days were just enough to see everything :-) we walked miles along hillclimbs and the rally stage to see some legends in the action. Loved Audi Quattro on the forest stage. Interesting thing is you can spend hours walking through the public parking and looking at some awesome cars...
