  2. Hi Folks, just wondering if anyone has the pinouts on a list or diagram? For the life of me I cant find this info anywhere and Im trying to troubleshoot a misfire.. Thanks.
  3. Hi VEEDUBBED, thanks for you reply. OK, new leads, plugs, dizzy cap and rotor. New filter. New lambda sensor. I cleaned the injectors and the spray pattern looked normal for CIS. Air flap in meatering head moving freely, no muck around it. I will double check the valve timing but I always use a dial indicator to find TDC instead of the marks. I will retest the fuel pressure and come back with results...
  4. Hi guys. Im after rebuilding a 9A and its going fairly well. But… Takes several attempts to start from cold, eventually settles into an idle at about 1k RPM. Whilst driving the car it seems to pull very cleanly once it goes above 2000 rpm. The idle is a little lumpy to be honest, and if I blip the throttle it generally tends to misfire a little until it gets to approximately 1700 rpm. The idle stabiliser valve doesn’t seem to be doing anything, if I disconnect it the engine runs as before. Hot starting seems to be impossible though. It is quite difficult to get the ignition timing set at 6° as the idle seems to be moving around considerably. I cant seem to find any pinout diagram for the 9A engine, so that would be a massive help to ensure that everything is connected correctly or if something else and missing. I would be greatly appreciative of any assistance.
