  1. probably my last post as the C is up for sale.. what about the leon cupra R? not too dissimilar.. i know its a 5 door but for looks its not too different. also similar power figures (comparatively for year)
  2. it was on here, up for about £2000 ono, but i think the thread fell off the bottom http://www.oxtongue.co.uk/petej/rado/ images can be found there. if anyone is actually interested i would prefer to sell as a whole so im open to sensible offers in the region of £2000. other than that.. its going to be chopped into bits and sold ;(
  3. wasnt 100% sure where to post this so here it goes! 1991 H Reg G60, 134k recent rebuilt supercharger by G-werks about 200miles ago. car is in good condition rriger front bumper and smoked side repeaters are the only exterior mods. original bbs wheels in reasonable condition could do with a refurb. black cloth interior is immaculate. SO would anybody be interested in anything? doesnt seem to be selling so i need to get some money back to get through my final year of university! let me know guys if i get some interst i'll pop up a propper thread in bits for sale and get it all sorted. cheers.
  4. ah excellent. hopefully its one thing that will make my enigne less noisy. thankyou
  5. ah, thankyou very much shawshank. i shall go apeshit tomorrow at 10:30am :D
  6. so take back fuel filter and throw a fit? any way i can check my part number see if its right?
  7. I finally got some spare cash to get a few much needed parts for my g60, i purchased a fuel filter from the stealers this afternoon. part number : 1h0 127401c now i explained its for a 1991 g60 corrado. a H registration (can i make this clearer!?) and the guy waddled off and found me the fuel filter, first glance it looked fine, big shiny metal cylinder with some pipes coming out. sorted. just got it home and checked it against my one currently on the car... its about 1.5ins longer than the older one, and has the fuel lines in/out on one end, rather than one at either end like my fitted one. Now am i being a retard and asking for the wrong part, he being a retard and giving me the wrong part or what?! cheers! also, i remeber darren suggesting all g60 owners should fit an 8v gti bolt to their cams? i'll be picking that one up asap once i get the part number for that. any other bits i should be buying at the same time to keep my poor car roadworthy!? Pete
  8. the aerial for new bmw's is hidden in the rear windscreen, and the sharkfin is for satnav. as told to by the BMW technician who fixes them... however! some are aerials too!
  9. loving those wheels! nice and modern but dont spil the C's lines. what are they?
  10. mine are nearly black and the 14years of cack dont come off :D so im just planning to swap them heheh. a brush helps, as does using something mildly caustic such as TFR or a mild hydroflouric acid (careful!) if you know what your doing, get a brush like TomB linked us to, a big bucket of soapy water and a jet washer. in 20mins i bet they look better than new! then polish them to death as jim said!
  11. its laguna seca blue. bmw colour now phased out on the M3. looks sweet. damn you all and your nice C's mine still looks super 4x4. going to look worse if i change the wheels!
  12. i think now they would make a superb car, something from gti>r32/r34 style. but it would look like some rice peice of ass and be far too expensive. i would like to see what they did though, VW have always surprised me in the aesthetic design dept!
  13. i think bar the stickers the enigne looks very good, utter respect to whomever did that. the rest however is just.. wrong
  14. cant knock a bit of pussy! *groan* glad you lost the venoms!! what wheels are on now?
  15. 1.1 pug 106 xn to a g60 :D
