  2. Last week driving home from work around 6pm, only 8 miles from where i live. Coming up to a round-about, two lanes, in the lane nearest to round-about, going about 10-15 limes heading straight over...estate car pulls out in front of me from left, i put on the brakes try to avoid her by vering right (i.e sort of round the round-about) slide then bang into a curb front wheel bashed into arch, Worst bit the ladies driver looks at me points and drives off with me left side ways on a round-about....!!!!!!ahhhh, soooo p*****ed offf!! mechanic think possibly a right off....thinks the driveshft , rear axle poss bent, nearside wishone bent.....note: no body work damage at all! If i tell my insurance and they confirm right off, if they paid out would they want to take the car...? I know they will pay near to nothing for a 17yr old car..... Help....any suggestion what to do...??? Thanks..........chris

Currently the front and rear foglights are'nt working and also im unable to put the windows up or down. When i mention the problems im 'currently' having, its because it varies by week...lol The other week the windows were working perfectly and the headlights weren't working......proper dodgy electrics! need to get sorted asap as starting to do my head in!! Can anyone recommend someone within the Berkshire/Surrey poss Hant's area.... Thanks in advance Cheers Chris

  7. Could someone tell me wheather an ISV from a 1990 MK2 golf gti 1.8 would fit/replace the ISV on my 1.8 KR corrado engine (1989). VAG item code - 037 906 457 C (maybe if someone has access to Etka program they could check for me..!?) Cheers guys Chris
  8. Just like to say thanks to Neil G60 for supplying me with a new headlamp switch....kept me informed, recieved switch following week once chque had cleared! Nice one. Cheers
  9. Thats looks awesome...both the raddo and the experience of doing the Cannonball.....nice one mate!
  10. As the subject says will a set of clocks from a 1992 valver be the same clocks which are in a 1989 valver....? Also is it possible to clock the mileage forward from 110k to 135k....? Thanks. Chris
  11. Is GSF the cheapest place to get front and rear calipers......?? Will be needing to replace mine shortly! Cheers
  12. Mentionings dads.......my dad came home yesterday from bein down near Brighton on business. He showed me a picture he managed to take on his mobile phone of a corrado on the motorway in front of him! Silver colour, lowered and alloys.....think if may have been a 2ltr valver. Good to see my dad is Corrado spotting as well....haha!!
  13. Spotted a white, blacked out, rims, lowered, nice looking Corrado to day coming off the blackwater valley junction at farnborough gate. Gave each other the thumps up!!. I was in the black rado coming from up over the bridge bit!
  14. Well i just used some rags from the garage to get most of the sh#t offf and then wiped with kitchen roll to clean window and any other little bits left! You really need to get all the glue off with the stanley blade so there is not much sticky stuff left to stick to the cloth.....hope this helps....(also try using window cleaner / white spirit or a bit of petrol with the stanley blade, it loosens the glue up!!)
  15. Before i purchased the Raddo i had a megane coupe which had tinted window all round. When i sold it to a middle aged lady she wasnt to keen on the tints and asked for them to be removed. I was trying for hours to get the sticky glue substance they used to put the tints on. I found in the end a stanley knife blade was the best and easiest way to remove it then rub down with some white spirit on a cloth. I will never offer to do this again in the future, it took me and a mate hours....!! LOL.
