When i first viewed - it almost looked metaillic black, but i think it was from it being early eve. It has that 'mystic' illuminisence. Seems to change as the day passes by :)

I got wallet bashing coming up - Next Service, MOT and TAX all fall into November. I don't really intend to mod her much at all, just look after her as best as i can. Got to also swat up on the lump and learn the in's and out's more, so you guys may have to bear with me and tell me to use the friggin search :) Still she only has forty k on the clock and i know the full history - serviced by the year so sometimes there is approx only 1700k between a service. Looking at her out in the car - park (ive had 6 smoke breaks already and ive only been in two hours) i can tell its gonna be an experince to remember. The previous two owners have looked after her well. and after looking at 6 cars now, i know i have bought the right one. All in all come what may - it will be all worth. As they say 'the bitter makes the sweet taster sweeter. :)

Here is just a couple of pics snapped on my phone - will take some more over the weekend when i have a chance to give her a valet. Drove back last night and my face was aching from grinning to much, she runs real smooth (came into work this morning and a colleague said 'look's like someone got a bit this morning'). Chuffed as feck! L :)

Hi *, Firstly sorry if this is the wrong section - feel free to move if that be the case. I have finally looked at the C vr6 that i am to buy and was really happy with. There is one thing that myself and the current owner were not sure of. When the ignition is at stage 1 (power before firing) there is a whiring electrical noise in the engine bay (almost like a small fan??) - it appears to come from the small black plastic cylinder which has a number of small wires sprouting out - it is top centre behind the engine itself. Is this normal? Other then a few other little bits, everything seemed good and dandy. Ta, Luke

Maybe it was ok - the light did go out as normal - but prior to that there would be a fast immitent type flash- not sure where the bleeps came from? Maybe all the gurning and dancing round in field off the a4 is having its flash backs :) There is normally a pulse felt through the pedal though i am right?

Hi All, Just went to view a vr6 and noted the following: When turning on the ignition (the power phase before you fire it) the abs light would flick for about 2-4 secs and a load of fast bleeps would emit. Also noted that there was no phump / pulse when holding my foot on the brake. What do you guys reackon?

A Mystic Blue Storm, 71k, 3 keeps from new, Standard. I may go and look at it tommorow. The chap is asking for 7700k - is that in ball park? For that i would want a pretty much a really well looked after car. What do you guys think - is that to much?

Hi All, I am out in the market at the moment hoping to pick up a VR6. There seems to be a lot of well experienced corroda merchants on this forum. So i thought where better to ask the following: Has the corroda increased or decreased in value as of late? - I know there has likely been a large but steady depreciation since they first rolled out (as with any car). But has there been a noticable rise fall as of late? Or even a particular trend forming? Ok - are here you - this to much much of generalised question, as the value is contingent upon the condition of the car the model year and millege, so as i very very rough guide: Standard Corrado VR6. 100k Well maintained engine. L or M reg (93/4). FSH. My reason for asking is if i was to spend 4k/5k on a vr6, is it likely to hold near that value, if well cared for and loved? Cheers, Luke
