Top Job that L33RRR- like the 'strange rover' as well.

Don't get any impression of speed though, what is it that you miss about the VR lukeage? the sound or power? Both really Chris, in this instance its that so elusive sound.

it a yank car. LHD wipers and side markers give it away. And the 700bhp.Well spotted lee - it was the oldy worldy wall in the back ground they made me think it may have been blighty.
Just found another Vid - this one has made me miss my vr like feck..
i need to get back into ownership:

Normally i am not one for heavily modded corrados.....but i can't fault this - class! I would not being able to stop looking at it if it was sitting on my drive, excellant work.

First time i have seen this, sounds like one hell of a blower! - it looks like its in the UK (its raining ;) ).
Anyone know this car?
Sorry if a repost
-
Could be tesco bags sealed up with gaffa tape ;)
-
Another one - just goes to show how a car can end up at stealers who has not got the first clue about what he is selling.
....unless it was a mod?????
but then it does have a 'sterio' as well :)

:)re they fake split rims? i never like things dressed up to be something they arent whether its split rims or ladyboys its never goodI kind of agree on this - its a bit like wearing a pair of two stripe abibas trainers and a shirt with a small dolphin logo made to look like a crocadile.
Save up a bit more and get some BBS.

Starting to really think about my next car and what i am going to go for once we moved into the new house and my finances have recovered again.
I had always planned without a doubt to pick another VR (was going to buy in the winter when prices are slow and at a low ebb) - pick something up for cheapish and spec some cash on getting it just how i want. Recently i have seen a few G60's and i have always liked the sound of tinkering around with the boost, pulleys etc,etc - but i wonder what it would be like to go from a very nice running VR6 to a G60, esp after reading a handful of posts from G60 owners selling up to by a VR6??
Has anyone on here gone down that path - Vr6 to a G60.
And also to make things even more simple i saw this baby at my local Audi garage, which has now made things even more harder to decide on:
Its a hard life :)

Wow - so glad your ok dude - that was close, i have heard a few stories now where a C has provided hardy protection in a crash.

morpheus20170 mate - did those ears come with the hat :)

Yeah the guy gave me the original airbox and a k&n panel filter, i'm also curious to hear what the standard airbox sounds like... Nothing compared to the cone i'm sureThe sound on the cone is lush - but i found that if you don't get a decent air feed it feels stuffy as the engine hoovers in a lot of hot sitcky air off itself. The std aribox is a lot more quiet but i prefered that - so its down to taste.
-
Looks like a good buy mate - do you still have the original airbox - if you replace that cone you will note a difference in the hot weather.
-
That is a great buy Jim - seen this car a couple of times and its one of my faves - not an ounce of fade it's red - so that paint has been well loved and looked after.
-
I would agree with you there - a really nice car, got any plans for it?
New addition to my collection :)
