Yep, very, very nice wheels. Not heard of them before.

who was that taken a photo of my car at M4 services???
diamondblack replied to Chris Langdon's topic in General Car Chat
You mean between junctions 17 and 18 of the M4, you were in a MkI Golf eating a BK and the Corrado was a green Storm with red rear tints? Nope, wasn't me either... sorry. (Although I was between junctions 23 and 24 of the M1 in an orange and purple polka dot Datsun Sunny, taking pictures of a yellow Volvo convertible with chrome tractor wheels and an interior trimmed with cat skin. See pictures at http://www.does-your-love-only-come-in-a-volvo.com ) -
And the Corrado featured is currently for sale on Ebay. Looks good. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1990-Volkswagen-C ... .m14.l1318

The Early / Late question... now with added Golf...

Whilst we're in the area - and is it the case that only the MkI and MkII Golfs have Corrado compatible seats? -
The Early / Late question... now with added Golf...

Thanks, guys. Most appreciated. -
Am I right in thinking that the difference between early and late model interiors is only down to the door cards? So the front/back seat fitment an early C are the same as a late model? (I have checked 'search' but can't seem to find a definitive answer...) Thanks.

Andy665 What would you advise is the best way to prep a car before polishing/waxing? (By the way, did you manage to sell those alloys you were advertising a few months ago? Thanks

Didn't keep that long, then - http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/410530.htm - It does look good in the sun. You could have at least offered me the wheels first, though... :)

As a wise Englishman once said: 'Never keep up with the Joneses. Drag them down to your level. It's cheaper.'

Looks lovely. I'm sure this was advertised on here ages ago, before Christmas, with a broken grille, and when I asked how it had happened, the owner said it'd had a slight front bump but had been repaired by Jimmi. But Jimmi certainly seems to know his stuff when it comes to repairs. Love those wheels too.

Well, I think that's just as you should pitch it; the truth as you know it is enough. (Although you may be surprised to learn that you are not saying anything that the woman doesn't already know, deep down.) But still, sometimes it's definitely better to put a truth on record than leave it unsaid.

Thanks for that link; the photos are higher resolution than my hotmail link, so better to save. And you've got to give it to American bloggers: they do give good comment... http://jalopnik.com/360844/volvo-rod-a- [b:2qgopp4o]
