  1. the 350z is wicked and the best bit is it's for people who think outside the box, i.e they could have bought a TT, boxster, slk, but chose to get the car that doesn't have the badge! That's a brave step. Although Nissan did merge the good bits from a 911 and the tt to get the design!!

  2. i guess, it was probably fiat running out of money nea the end of development!!!! "the car looks great, lets f*uck it up with some ugly alloys"

when i was younger my uncle had a red one, it was sooooo cool, even though it was a fiat, but on the reliability thing,,, my mum had two fiat uno's hat were geat and my sister had 3 panda's that were great too..... so i think it's luck of the draw.......

  3. i think they were nice cars, designed by arguably the best design house in the world and had a good range of engines.... the c and the fiat coupe were too revolutionary and different looking for joe public to appreciate, but if you love car design, then these are two design icons, look at the c&rap in car show rooms now,,,,,, the only really nice coupes come from alfa's stable..... the germans have lost the plot (apart from porsche), why does everyone think that all cars have to look the same,,,,,,, but the c wins over the fiat on build quality everytime. How many Fiat coupes do you see with 170k+ on them and still going strong?

Sorry for my little rant :rainbowafro:

  4. sometimes though, if a car that old has got such a low mileage then it could have been stood for a while..... therefore the low miles could mean trouble...... all depends on what the person selling it is like... dealer or private..

i got stung with a mk2 golf syncro (4x4) that only had 45k on it, bought it and then...... the oil pump went on the motorway,,,,,,,,,,,, middle lane!!!! it managed to weld the cams to the side of the head....... :bad-words:  :bad-words:

    so be careful........

  5. i used to use the aa who were great,,,,, especially as i wired in some foglights on their own ring in my old golf and i always fogot to turn them off,,,,,, so they were regularly called out....

And with my company i got Rac cover and they have been really good.... they all seem to be a much of a muchness... it all depends on he driver..... the ones i have had have bent over backwards to help..... with blatant disregard for company policy..... Awesome ;)

  6. i haven't had a corrado yet, but i'm nearlly there ;) But rather than spend so much on supercharging why not just do the usual 1.8t and if it's 180bhp get it chipped to 225 or maybe even more...... the 1.8t seems bomb proof........

  7. chris i'd agree with you about quotes..... especially for young drivers!!!!!! need i say more...... the bit that gets my goat the most is that if you have a years no claims they won't necessarily discount your insurance.... you have to go through the hassle of getting new quotes ever year... what has happend to being a valued customer.......

  8. i have had a quote for corrado insurance and when asked about alarm immob.. i said cat 2, then i got my quote, i asked the guy if i installed a Cat 1 would it bring my quote down much? He put it through the computer and it didn't drop at all........

so i'm nw thinking maybe this whole cat 1 and cat 2 stuff is just an insurance con......

has anyone else had the same experience......

    :? :? :? :? :? :?
