Can't afford a rebuild just yet lol the charger was rebuilt at jabba before i got it, if it was up to me it would of been done at G-Werks. But no worries i have a spare charger so its all good lol
-
Cheers for your quick repsonce. I'll see what they say, just thought i'd ask the question on here to avoid a phone call lol
-
i'm thinking about getting a smaller pulley for my Charger, thinking about dropping from a 72mm pulley to a 68mm pulley, My charger is Stage 4, done by jabba sport with a jabba sport chip. My question is: if I drop my pulley size will i need a remap? Thanx in advance for any responce. :) Deano.

Deano_G60 replied to corrado_sunderland's topic in Engine Bay
I was told that all senders and sensors need to be working, or the car runs in safe mode. just what i was told, so maybe it is because your running with out a lamda sensor. Well i hope you get it sorted mate. -
G60 whistle during rev build up and ecu removal
Deano_G60 replied to corrado_sunderland's topic in Engine Bay
I Had the same problem i was told it was due to the fact that my C was running safe mode which means its throwing fuel into the engine to stop it from knocking, vince at stelth sorted mine. Check to make sure all your sensors are working i.e maff sensor knock sensor all your temp senders are working ok and check the vac hose to the ECU as well. hope this helps mate. p.s most stage 4 chargers whistle on idel and during rev build up when the boost return is removed, its just the unused air passing the butterfly valve. nothing to worrie about both my Corrado and my mates Rallye do it and we are both running stage 4 jabba chargers. if its annoying you put your boost return back on  Deano. -
nice to see I'm not the only G60 owner with high oil temps will be having an oil cooler fitted my self asap.
-
I'm not sure mate so I thought I'd post and ask :) so G60 owners please help me out and post up your oil temps The highest I've seen mine is 130 degrees C is this normal for the G60? as I know they run hot any way.
-
what oil temps should i be seeing on a 64k mile 1.8 G60 Golf Rallye Engine with a Stage 4 Super charger and jabba chip, BMC CDA Induction kit and a Front Mount Intercooler, with no oil cooler? I have no idea what oil is in the engine as my oil change was done by vince at stealth racing. Thanx in advance. :)
