  2. You don't have to get identical power from each engine. As said above, Dubsport's Rallye ran a 2.8VR6 front and a 2.9VR6 rear. Easiest way to imagine it is - a car is being pushed by two people one unfit and the other a strong athlete....even though they have different powers the car will still go faster when they push at the same time...just that one person will use up more energy and work harder than the other. Its actually an easy conversion as the engines, in my mk1, only shared the fuel tank and cooling system. Other than that they run completely seperate. Only difficult part is the clutch and gear change system along with throttle cables - obviously the front engine set up is standard so it is only the rear that has to be thought about. On my mk1, the rear clutch bit a fraction of a second before the front to aid take off.
  3. Above was Dubsport's Rallye. Dubsport also did my twin 2.0 16v, a mid engine 3.1VR6T (orange one) and, of course, the twin VR6T mk3 (B16 DUB). I cracked 4secs 0-60 at Santa Pod so, if you can keep the weight down, this should also be easily achievable.
