    window roller

Ok I guess this is another item vw no longer keep, does anyone know where I can get one from or. Does anyone have a good 2nd one? Thanks
  3. 2 out of two so far yes. How do you open up the tank? Under the rear seat the black round circle, is it jus a matter of unscrewing?
  4. If it helps I was looking for maf the other day and managed to get a 2nd hand one off a mk3 golf for £30. Put it on and it's Woking fine with no errors. Failing that euro do have brand new bosch ones in stock for around £215 for the c vr6. You have to search for engine management sensors.

My drivers side plastic window roller keeps popping out of the metal arm. So I guess im after a new one. Anyone?
  6. Ok new sensor is in and touch wood all seems ok. It did cut once but not in the same way as before all the lights came thias time however I think this was due to low fuel. I dont think I can rely the petrol gauge when its gets to low level. Will monitor now over the weekend.
  7. Ok so the cutting out has defiantly got worse so iv left it a friend of myns garage to sort out. Iv ordered the crank sensor part from euros because dealers say its obsolete. Costing £51. Will pick up and get it on in the morning now. I'll report back on the results. Fingers crxd
  8. Ok just to throw a spanner in the works I took the car back to check the for the code and to make sure the car is switched on. Here's the sequence of events: 1. Plugged I his computer with the ignition but not started and code p0201 rpm sensor no signal 2. Started the car and then he cleared the error, so it then showed no errors. The car is still cutting out. I've done search for the code p0201 and it says "P0201 Cylinder 1 - Injector Fault -N30" not sure what this means yet? If this is right whats it got to do with the rpm sensor?
  9. Can somone confirm if this is the right sensor for my above issues - rpm sensor? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VOLKSWAGEN-CORRADO-2-9-VR6-1991-TO-1995-CRANKSHAFT-PULSE-SENSOR-18791-/181216953525?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2a315f44b5
  10. Yes this ties in with whats happening. After 2-3 mins when its up to temp. So what is the actual part called that I need to search for? Crank sensor? Does anyone what part number?

    Maf vr6

    All sorted for now
  12. Yeah just dying as if iv turned the key off. I will look into this some more. Cheers
  13. Ok the car starts fine but just seems to cut out randomly while driving at relatively low speeds? Are these sensors simple to change ? Also is engine speed sensor the same as rpm sensor?
  14. Ok I have managed to sort out another maf sensor and now this error is not coming up touch wood, however my car is still cutting out while driving. The error coming up is saying a Rpm sensor fault? I have booked the car in with awesome for Monday however I'm dreading to see how serious this is and how much it's going to cost. Is the rpm sensor a common fault and is it a simple job to resolve?
  15. Aww nice one mate. Pm me your number amd illill store in my fone.
  16. Down the road from you in denton
  17. Your right on the part numbers I think thats my best bet. I will give cleaning it ago no harm I guess however I suspect its completely duff seen as though it makes no difference when I take the plug out.
  18. How do I know ifvits early or late? The has 4pins in it. Do early and late have tje same part numbers as above? Have u the bay item number?

    Maf vr6

Maf required a Bosch one ideally part number 021906462 anyone
  20. Yep seem to obsolete everywhere. There aftermarket ones but iv been told not to bother with these and to find a genuine Bosch one, only if it was that easy. The part number I'm after is 021906462 Do you think a second hand Bosch is ok?
  21. Ok so it's started to get worse so I took it down to the garage and the lads put a computer on it. They said it's coming up as the air mass. So I rang the dealers who said they don't have them anymore and rang tps and euro who also said the same, what do I do now then? How the hell do you get a new air mass?
  22. Ok iv checked the maf plug its seems fine. Uplugged it while engine on and no difference when I plug back in a very slight engine noise difference back to normal. Drove it moderately today and cut out again?
  23. Tbh not sure as the filter was on it when I bought the car(it looks dry)I'll check the invoice as a have it in the service folder. Today's the first run I've had in the vr since I bought a few months back. I didn't even test drive it went straight from the trailer to the bodyshop - bringing good memories of the first VR I had quite a few years back. I will check the maf plug tmrw and take it from there
  24. Ok that's a start, I will check in the morning don't fancy waking my neighbours up now. It has a kn cone on it would that make any difference? Also if it was the plug would that not occur at all speed and not just at low?
  25. Hi I just got vr6 back on the road today after around 3 years off. I picked the car car up from body shop and drove moderately as the fuel was very low so low that I thought it ran out of fuel because as I was driving around 20 mph it cut out, it didn't splutter but just seemed to loose all power. I pulled over and it started back up. I got it to the petrol station and filled it up. I had been driving the car for 25 miles throughout the day slowly building up confident driving and started to open it up with no problems. This evening I thought I'd take it for another run without any traffic around and it did the same again, lost all power while I pushed it hard round a roundabout but managed to start it while coasting. I then cam to a stop at the lights and it stated to idle abit lumpy and died. It did a couple more times at low speed and while coming to a stop. Not sure where to start, anyone?
