  1. Afternoon all,

I have for sale a power flow stainless exhaust. It is in really good condition and fits the 1.8 16v (early type hangers). I was running it on my 20vt and it sounded really nice, quiet on idle but nice at full throttle and quite subtle looking tailpipe. It is not a complete system as usually there is another silencer but i ditched this in favour of a straight through pipe from the down pipe. I'm looking for £85 collected or £100 delivered for the exhaust.

  2. Morning all,

Having a bit of a clear out this weekend and these are surplus to requirements. They were fitted to my 20vt Corrado and are 4 x 100 pcd. They are fitted with Toyo Proxies and all tyres are in very good condition with at least 5/6mm tread left on them. The wheels themselves are tidy enough with the odd kerb mark/scratch. Would be ideal for a track car as they are very light. Come with correct vw spigot rings but no centre caps i'm afraid. I ran these with 10mm spacers on the rear and the fitted the car very well with no rubbing/catching on arches with a 40mm drop.

I'm looking for £180 for these and would prefer them to be collected from Frome in Somerset but could post if collection is tricky.

  3. If i've got the o/s headlight, how much for postage? Or if by chance you're going to Early Edition next Sunday I can pick it up from you then?

Hi mate, as the o/s headlight glass isn't in as good condition as the n/s i'd be willing to sell it for £25 including postage. Unfortunately not going to early edition but happy to post it.

    Cheers

  4. Cheers for the pics of the interior. Do you have any other pictures of the complete seat without zooming in close please? Dont worry about cleaning them, i'll sort that mate. If you have a few more pics that would be great. Thanks. Rob.

    Hi Rob

Below are some pics, like i said i'll give em a good clean tomorrow.

  5. Hi everyone,

Sorry for the delay. Tigerfish below is a pic of the scuttle cover, i can confirm it is a swg one and apart from the very tips of both corners having a bit of damage it is in good condition. Borachris the door seals are in good condition and there is no splits in the rubber. Just had a good look at the headlights passenger one is in good condition with no damage to glass but driverside appears to have a chip in the glass, it doesnt let in water/condensation and looks chipped on the inside.

Posted below is also a pic of the interior pattern, the seats are in excellent condition. I've owned a few Corrados now and its by far the best interior i have seen. The bolsters are in good shape and it is not ripped/torn and has no fag burns, the vinyl on the top of the door cards has lifted slightly but a bit of glue would sort this. I'll give it a shampoo tomorrow and stick the pics up.

hi if the handles are late and exterior and reseanable postage costs i'll take them ?

    Hi mate,

They are indeed late spec, they are in good condition but stupidly when i scrapped the car forgot to take the key so have no keys for them. As they are only small i'll do them for £30 posted. If your interested pm me.

  6. Evening all,

Finished breaking a late spec 2l 16v Corrado today that i took the engine out of for a mk2 Golf. Got a few decent bits left over:

Good condition black late spec interior (all seats and door cards) £125 *sold*

Smooth scuttle panel cover (possibly SWG but not sure) £50 *sold*

Late spec 2l 16v clocks £40 (unsure of mileage, forgot to check before breaking car)

    Door seals £10 each side

Pair door handles (good condition, but no key as left gave it to scrapyard with car) £30

Standard set of rear lights £35

    Headlights £25 each

    Black dashboard £40

Didn't have time to take photos of parts today but will post pics tomorrow. All prices above are cash on collection from Frome in Somerset but i'm willing to courier stuff if you are willing to pay for postage.

  7. Still got the slave clyinder??

Sorry for the slow reply, yeah still have the slave cylinder

---------- Post added at 06:00 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:58 PM ----------

    Hi Mate

Really interested in the manual window winders, would you take £40 posted? Cheers Joe

Yeah no problem mate, as long as your ok with waiting until after the weekend as wont have a chance to remove til then. If that's ok send me a pm.

    Cheers

  8. Hi Mate,

I would be interested in your Clutch Salve Cylinder.. also, do you have the rear hubs? Will these pit on a 1.8 16V 1990?

    Hi mate

The car is a 1990 1.8 16v and the rear hubs are standard so should fit your car fine. How about £35 delivered for the clutch slave cylinder and both rear hubs (stub axles)

  9. Hi mate, I'll take the suspension from you if it will fit a '95 8v? Would also need to take into account approx postage cost?

Hi mate, i would imagine the suspension would fit a later Corrado but dont know for definate, i think the top mounts may be different but are interchangeable. I can post any item upto 30kg for £10.20 using TNT through work, so if you want it how does £60 delivered sound?

    Cheers

    Cheers

  11. Hi mate, i've just started breaking my 20vt Corrado and have a qpeng management system for sale. It is the complete loom with a MBE 992 ecu. It is mapped for an AGU engine with a K03 turbo. It cost me £850 new so would like £400 for the ecu, loom and the qpeng map sensor needed. Also have a load of other bits for sale if you need anything like intercooler and pipework let me know.

  12. Yeah couldn't believe it, never really thought about trying for classic insurance before as still see the Corrado as a modern car (showing my age!). Goes some way towards making up for spending a fortune filling the thing up with petrol

  13. Evening all,

Just a heads up on a deal i just got insuring my Corrado. It's a 16v i'm using while finishing off my 20vt project and i don't use it for commuting as i've got a company van. Just got fully comp cover on a classic insurance policy for £124..... for the whole year! That includes social, domestic & pleasure and 6000 miles a year. It was with a online broker price comparison site called heritage. If you google it, it should come up. Just thought it might be useful for others especially with every other thing relating to motoring shooting up recently.
